This Forum Is In Ruins!

Now, anyone could see it. This entire website is now not for discusing 3DS games or the 3DS, and whatever goes into the lounge. A large majority of the members are just chatting about the Playstation Vita and if it could take out the 3DS. Looking at the first page of new posts recently I have seen 5 threads discussing the same exact thing!
PSV Graphics vs 3DS, Could DS have taken PSV?,ect.
All I am saying is, we are just ripping out our hair over something that I don't think belongs here.

I know. It's stupid, but nothing to panic about. And you probably are not going to get a clear, mature answer for a while.

I personally think it is out of the Nintendo fanboy's fear that the Vita would beat the 3DS, cause it makes no sense that every damn thread about it is full of the same Vita slandering....especially when the thing hasn't came out yet. They keep talking about the Vita would fail cause of this and that...duplicate threads about the same stuff, but no one says anything. Everytime I see something negatively talked about over and over for no real reason...it did nothing to anyone, it's always usually out of fear, spite, or hate.

Best you can do is do what I do: Don't even look into the Vita threads anymore...just ignore them, shake you head, and move to something sensible.

Idk...probably they don't have lots else to talk about. But also, this is forum is about a Nintendo product...not necessarly a forum for Nintendo fanboys, but that's who Nintendo product forums are going to mainly attract. They are going to continue to just put down other consoles, which seems to be the Playstation brand for their reasons, it's what console fanboys do....though some of them defend their console to the point to where it is too much, like the actually company gives a **** about them.

I see no problem talking about the Vita and it's games in the lounge because plenty of people are interested in it (and others are badly misinformed about the games being released for it). I'm okay with making a thread about Gravity Daze because it looks like a cool game that I thought people here (even the Vita haters) might like to see. And sometimes the Vita just sort of comes up when talking about support from certain developers (like Bioware). It just happens.

The Versus threads are annoying but kind of funny. You see people posting some of the worst or best shots of a game to prove their point. And then you also have fanboys that say that they don't want console-esque graphics on their handheld but praise Revelations because it "looks like RE5".

I'm into the PSvita because of all the stuff i think it beats the 3ds at. I mean i came here love'n the 3DS, but now i'm just another Sony fanboy, and i had to put nintendofanboy99 for my name, i wish i could easily change it though. I'm kinda confused how to inform an administrator to change it, but anyways I think its okay to talk about the Vita because people are really interested in it. I just don't want anyone talking about the Xbox 360 or PS3, because that wouldn't make any sense at all on a 3ds forums

Idk...I guess you can take a shot and go to an administrator and try to convince him with your reason. All they can say is yes or no. Idk how many times I felt that I wanted to change my name too...a lot of people go through wanting name changes. Best thing you can do to start is PM an administrator or go to a moderator about it kindly, really explain your reason, and hope that he passes it to an admin.

But it's okay to talk about the Vita, or anything you want. I was mainly talking (venting) about the constant repeat slander threads over the same stuff or just finding ANYTHING on the Vita to talk bad about (people who don't seem interested in anything but Nintendo)....I wouldn't be surprised if I see a thread one day saying Vita will fail because you have no color choices...it's only black. It's like most of the Vita threads.

Interest is different than hate or complaining. One can get sick of a person constantly putting down something or complaining about something versus positivity.

Comparing the two handhelds is fine, having discussion on its features, or even civilized discussions about why the 3DS is better is fine (probably one or two threads...not fifty, which there are, though not most are logical or civilized)...but the most direct fanboyish slander and hate, it is tiring.

I am not trying to dictate anything...people are going to say and do whatever they are going to say and do.
