Default The future

What do you think the future of E3 holds for us?

I think it holds (in 20 years) games with graphics so good that it looks like a film from a 1080p Full HD camera.

E3 holds games I want to play. Instead of thinking of what's to come, how about waiting for the event to start?

I can only imagine. I've always been personally excited over the idea in Tron, how you go inside the computer, like a virtual world. I hope the future of gaming becomes this. When you're shot in a shooter, it tickles, so there's no danger. If you fall off a cliff it feels like bliss and you don't feel pain.

Those graphics will take less than 20 years, no doubt about it.

1080p will be outdated in 20 years I think. There are already computer monitors with higher resolutions.

I think planar displays can only go so far. I think we will eventually move to true 3D image displays. I.E. holographs.

I thought this would be about the future future, and to that I'd say flying cars.

But because it's not, I'd want to see a Pokemon game via holograms, so I can battle side-by-side with my favourite team.
