Hey. So, while I'm also working on Hegira and other assorted game titles, I'm the writer of a tutorial and resource site about game design, as well as the owner of a site devoted to music creation.

First off, I write tutorials on how to make games using Blender. Said tutorials are, for now, free. You can check them out at Game Up! There are a lot of resources available for the BGE (Blender Game Engine) there, as well.

I also write tutorials and run a resource site devoted to SunVox, a free music creation software. My video tutorials are present on this YouTube playlist here (not maintained by me, so it may not always have all of the tutorials), as well as present on the site, SunVox Solstice (maintained by me ). On SunVox Solstice, you can find a lot of songs available for download freely to learn from, as well.

So, if you've ever been interested in game design or music creation, check 'em out.
