Should be fine, personally if you want to get x256 textures or higher youll want more ram imo. But it looks like a solid rig. Where are you buying it from? and how much are you spending.

Added after 3 minutes:

Also if you have any questions about running a MC server ask on the MC thread! A bunch of us have done it before

Looks pretty good. I would say the weak spot in the system is the graphics card, but I imagine it would play Minecraft just fine. Generally, if you want to play recent games at high settings, it would be better to go with a Radeon 6750 or higher.

Videocard is really really bad. Unless you only wanna play old games with it. its fine. but dont aspect to run any game on 1080p with decent settings. Hell you would have to have luck to run newest game on low 720p on 30 fps on the lowest settings.

Cool

on the graphics card I hear you wan th the second number to be 5 or higher. I am getting a laptop that has the 6750 in it. It's a beast in the graphics department but the cpu is on 1.7 ghz. It's a quadcore amd. It's 700 dollars. It runs Crysis 2 at 40 fps, best in class at running games. So yeah my computers going to be great. Execpt for the lackluster cpu, but the graphics card more than makes up for that. Also it has blu ray. It's the hp dv6-6135dx. So get that unless you want a desktop then build one I guess.
