What's the longest/hardest school assignment you've ever had?

Spent 18 hours doing 3 math problems once.

I had many long assignments, mostly math ones, but they were never difficult to solve.

Ouch. Do you remember what they were?

I kind of remember them. I still have the book they were in, so I can post them later, but I doubt anyone here will be interested in it.

An 8-10 page argument paper in my senior year of HS.

Hmm, I've had tons of papers and art projects that take hours upon hours, but I enjoy those. The longest would probably be one of three research papers I've done throughout high school and college. They weren't hard though. Calculus is probably the hardest. I can sit for hours staring a a problem and get nothing figured out. I do have a 5 page scientific paper on my analysis of fingerprints due in November. It will probably take more time than I care to spend on it.

i get a lot of English and math homework

My English teacher has a unique discipline system: Talk and she puts up the letter E, then S, all the way to Y. When we spell ESSAY, she assigns us an essay on a subjebt of her choice. On weekends, we get a five page essay. And, of course, im in the worst, most talkitive class.
