Default Help on solution for 3DS bottom screen scratching the upper.

Hello 3DS Forum community. I come here with a problem that many 3DS owners have. The problem is that stupid bottom screen scratching the upper one. I am a person that takes very good care of electronic gadgets and everything else overall. Some people probably don't care about scratches, but I do, and I will be very pissed off if I see one day a single scratch on my 3DS. The solution I currently practice on my 3DS is to leave a soft cloth in between the two screens whenever I am not playing and close my 3DS, but this have gotten very annoying because sometimes I just want to have the freedom to simply close the darn thing and not worry about it. What are the solutions?
1)Screen Protector
2)Rubber Pad

Question for you guys?
Does the screen proctector from HORI ruins in any way the brightness or 3D effect of the screens?

A: No, it does not, the screen protectors are a VERY USEFUL tool for this thing, Can I
recommend you two of them? one for the upper and another one for the bottom screen, this will protect both (believe me, it's HORRIBLE when you see and feel the scratch on the touch screen...).

Side Note: Go to google and search how to use the screen protectors.... Bubbles are your enemies >w<

:3 have a nice day.
secretgamer, Buramu and Szayel like this.

For almost 3 months now, I have been using the thin protective styrofoam sheet that comes with it to prevent the lines from happening.

yeah but don't you think it's annoying to put that foam, or in my case, a soft cloth each time you are done with your 3DS?

The HORI screen protectors are AWESOME. I bought them after getting advice exactly like this on this forum. The ONLY issue I have with them is that they're fingerprint magnets, but they're still the best screen protectors you can get.
I still keep a screen cleaning cloth between the screens when it's closed though, because I don't want my... screen protectors.. to get.. scratched... (yeah that sounds kind of OCD).

Yes, I do, everything for my experiences with my DSLite; The lower screen on the DSLite is all scratched and I hate it.

I also use another one, this time for the upper screen, and it's perfect right now, even after 3 months of use.

There's no other solution for the stylus hurting the lower screen, for the upper one, just the soft cloth, but well... you can do as MissPeachyBum and use both, the screen protector and the soft cloth.

Yes, but trying to get rid of the lines that appear is definitely more annoying and takes more effort and more time to get rid of. I prefer the foam.

I use a protector and a cloth... still noticed some imprinting just recently. I went and got a couple small bumper pads to keep my screen propped up.
