Post Hoping what doesn't happen in the next Pokemon Game for the 3DS.... =[

Hi guys i am writing this thread because i really like the 3D models of the Pokemon in the Pokedex 3D application. I really hope GameFreak really use the 3DS for what it has and to use to the fullest with the next Pokemon Game. No more 2D sprites or Pokemon not showing their moves the right way like a Mudkip doing whirlpool out of its butt. What am i saying is that i hope the Pokemon are in full 3D and showing the moves the right way and so is the trainer and levels too. there is no excuse for anything now to develop a game like that with the 3DS. cuz if they don't...
its going to be really disappointing for me and fans that wanted that to happen in a Pokemon game for like the longest.... and you know you want that to happen!!!!

anyone feel the same way???

I am almost 100% sure that they will use the pokedex 3D models in the next pokemon game, it just seems like so much resources to use on a free app... It would certainly be possible to use them in a full game with an 8gb cartridge.

Exactly totally agree with you there.

I like sprite-based pokemon...

I wouldn't be so quick to assume GF will use the models we've seen in the app. They may appear in other pokemon games, but GF tends to not use assets from other developers.

I understand that you like Sprite-based models...
but that's the problem!!! we need to move on from that.
its time for a change imo
wouldn't you like to see the Pokemon better graphically???

I agree, like most Pokemon fans I've grown attached to the 2D sprites but it's time for Pokemon as a series to move on. It needs to change in a similar way to how Mario, Metroid, and Zelda have.

Yes I too hope they will do something with the pokedex and the game -it would be great to see it develop graphically-although they did do some great things with pokemon black. I really think they won't change it all that much though,as there are so many fans of the series, who love it this way.

It would be cool if the next pokemon game was something like Colosseum or XD Gale of Darkness. I think that's why they made pokedex 3d just to see if it would work, but i would miss those 2d sprites pokemon has had for so long.

Nice looking sprites look infinitely better than bad looking polygons.

I really like how sprites can replicate a look faithful to their original designs.
