Default How good are you at keeping your games safe/tidy?

I used to be pretty dire and I'd have games always going missing. However I have made more of an attempt to protect my games now. I put the DS cartridges I own in a rectangle plastic container and put it on my bookshelf since I've long since lost all the cases they came in....they're ok in there though.

The turning point was when I lost my Pokemon Diamond and when I found it under my bed I tried to play it and the save file couldn't be loaded. That's when I started paying more attention to where I put things down. I was pretty lucky though most of my DS games never vanished without trace and I managed to keep a hold of the majority of them.

I'm not a very organised person to begin with so it's not always easy. However for the 3DS I'm planning on clearing out a shelf on my bookcase to put all my 3DS games (and maybe some Wii, PC games too)

What would you give yourself out of ten? Currently I'd give myself a 6/10. Although in the past it was more like a 2/10.

excellent, I actually restore my game boxes or carts and systems to their original shine.

10/10, my games are as pristine as the day I bought them. This is why I never buy second hand games, since the majority of them look like they have been used as a football. I cannot understand how people get them in the state they do, surely looking after a game, be it CD based or cartridge, is not that difficult.

it's no error, I go the extra mile baby.

seriously cleaning the insides, polishing contacts, replating contacts, replacing batteries, reverting yellowing of older games and clearing markings if that is not 110% I don't know what is.

actually I came up with a way to scam gamestop and get proper manuals and cover arts for some of my loose games so make that 125%

Well.. Only my Pokemon DS games are in their cases.. I keep the rest in a little bag I got off club Nintendo and before that I kept them inside my Wii wheel. LoL. But that's because when I got my DS I was 16 and didn't care :/ now I do..

But I keep all my Wii (and soon 3DS) games safe in their cases in a shelf right under my TV. They were in perfect condition.. until I let my nephew start using my Wii... Now all the papers under the plastic look crumpled.. I don't know how he managed that :| but at least the disks are on good condition..

Oh please. This is utterly impossible with my mom constantly cleaning my room. I keep it in one spot, she moves it in my brothers' room! I lost Megaman: Blue Moon GBA because of this, I lost some other small (as in play value, not size) games. Give me recommendations on GBA storage, DS storage, and 3DS storage. I'd prefer if they would be sepperate. What was that 3DS porfolio thingy?

I keep my games in a drawer next to my bed. Have every game organized and alphabetized and I clean them regularly, even the NES and SNES carts that I collect are restored to perfection.
