Default Huge Super Mario Collection

Hi guys! I sent these photos in to be featured in the next issue of ONM, but just thought i'd share with you on here. It's not the most impressive collection in the world, and there's alot of games missing from it, but this was a Mario collection I collected a few years ago. Sadly I had to sell it all off, as it became expensive to update, and was taking up too much space.

Anyway - There's some NES, SNES, Famicom, Super Famicom, N64, Gameboy etc and other misc products there. I did actually get some more stuff after these photos, such as the N64 games, but I never took a photo.

Anyway, enjoy!

I sold bits and pieces individually on eBay. I thought I'd get more back that way. I can't remember exactly now, it was back in 2009, a fair few hundred pounds though. No more than I spent on the bloody stuff though - Haha!

Aww. Makes me sad. You had a great collection there. I hate to see people give up their collections.

Yeah, it's annoying looking at it now, and I do regret making a hasty decision and selling it, however I needed the money, and most of them (the non PAL titles) were just sitting on my shelves doing nothing. Which to me at the time, made them pointless. But hey - Always the future to start another collection I guess!

Dang, man. You must have been collecting FOREVER. It's a shame you had to sell it all.

Was the Famicon the oldest thing in your collection, or is my memory wrong?

That was a great collection, what was the rarest item you had?

I'm pretty sure the copy of Super Mario Bros on Famicom was the oldest thing I owned.

Rarest, possibly the Japanese titles, or maybe even the SNES version of Yoshi's Island. That thing was mint (near new) and cost a fair bit. Who know's though, rarity of things seems to be up and down all the time. I was toying with the idea to buy an American Mario RPG on SNES, but it goes for about £60 without a manual, and at the time I couldn't justify it, also I couldn't play it.
