Well, if it's "not as bad as Irene" I'm guessing we have nothing to worry about :]

I am in the path, and we need the rain! I hope New Orleans is gonna be okay, but I'm happy about it coming here.

I'll be getting it early Tuesday (I live in East-Central MS). Good thing about these storms is by the time it reaches far enough inland, it's almost never strong.

I wouldn't be too frightened about this one if they say it's weaker then Irene.

Are people getting worked up about Hurricane Part 2: Electric Boogaloo? Because Irene was hardly the disaster they said it would be. No reason to be concerned honestly. I haven't heard much on television so I'll assume everybody's treating it like the joke they should have treated Irene as. But then again, I don't watch much television. |

Not a hurricane, just a tropical storm.. Its actually sitting over my city right now. Lots and lots of rain. We're expecting 5 inches of rainfall tomorrow since the system is pretty much stationary...moving northward at only 3 mph. Lots of rain, but no wind.. nothing compared to Fredrick, Camille, Katrina, etc etc
