My friend that works there sells knives, but I'm thinking they'll try and talk me into a telemarketing or commission based job. Does anyone have an opinion on this situation? | I think you're absolutely correct on what type of job you'll end up working. I mean, I guess it could happen in other fields, but sales is the only field I can think of where someone would call you unsolicited and tell you to come in for a job interview because your friend mentioned your name. I'm willing to bet he gets a commission for every person he/she recommends and ends up getting hired.
