I Got my code for spore two days ago and I have been playing all night.

Spore is ridiculously boring IMO, the only fun I ever had was during space stage.

I had fun during all the stages =/

I love Spore too! I especially enjoy the Tribal and Civilization Stages. Space stage is all right, but is way better with Galactic Adventures.

*sigh* I wish my laptop could play games...

I liked Spore a lot.

However there was so much wasted potential too. Some of the stages are a bit bare. Like the animal stage just has you walking around either befriending or beating up groups of aliens. Once you've dealt with one group you just rinse and repeat with another group....

My favourite stage was the space stage because it's so vast. The other stages could use a lot of work/expansion packs. It's not that they're not fun exactly...but once you've done a stage once there isn't much replay value since you're pretty much just doing the same kind of thing all over again just with another alien.

I don't think they're working on spore itself any more are they? Darkspore is like a spinoff is it? It'll be a standard shooter too won't it? It's a shame, they could have done so much more with the original game.
