What kind of audience are you trying to hit? Is there any special requirements besides the need for apple blossoms?

...Apple blossoms and Samurai? I think Sakura, or in English, "Cherry Blossoms", are what you're thinking of.

/specifics

But yes, target audience is a huge factor, as well as the genre.

Wait, why do you have to have a story writ?
Are you under a contract or something?
Maybe improve your spelling for starters..
..I'm not trying to be a grammar nazi, but good spelling helps good writing...

^ That too. Though to be fair, he could have been in a hurry or something. : /

EDIT: Ooh, I have an idea! A very brief one, that is.

Quote:
A Japanese man (or woman, your pick) is viewing the apple-trees blossom somewhere in Canada (seeing as you're a Newfi and all), reminding him/her of the Sakura back in Japan. This sight then stimulates memories of their past. (Perhaps something they regret? Take pride in?)
Just remember, if it's gonna center around a samurai-esque character, try to make it, for lack of a better term, Japanese-y.

Hey man. I know the feeling of writer's block, its terrible. What i do is not think about the story and just lay down and think about life. That's when my ideas hit me. Try it. And btw i love the samurai in the cherry blossoms.

Oh what you coukd use is a pilot wrecks on a japanese island and he doesnt understand their language so he just sits in a japanese garden under a cherry blossom tree. And then is chosen by a high ranking samurai to become a warrior

EDIT: Dont use that. Not original. I got it from the Young Samurai concept

I originally wrote a long response to this, but I decided to sum it up with "historical accuracy rage!"

Soo, yeah. Going to reiterate myself and say it really depends on the genre. Maybe the OP wants a crazy story, written with a sense of hilarity and defied logic. XD
