I was just wondering, why were there no just DSI games.

I heard there were some but i don't recall any names, there would have only been a few. It isn't the best idea to have a large range of games exclusive to a redesign, that's why there wasn't many.

I think there was one game that absolutely required a DSi and it was some shooting-aliens-shovelware-thing.

There are quite a few DSi-enhanced games where you could still play them on a regular DS but there were special features exclusive to the DSi.

iCarly, you could take pictures for a webshow of some sort.
Art Academy (Sorry) You could also take pictures to use as references for your art.
And for Pokemon B/W there was the video chat.
