Default I'm Sorry, IGN, I've lost all respect for you...

When reading these two articles published in the last week, Why Game Remakes Are Great & 3DS Remakes We'd Love to See, a certain article comes to mind:
3DS: The Port Problem - published in February (4 months before)
Come on IGN, I mean, at least try to take your news reporting seriously!

Have you had any annoyances with IGN, like this one, in the past?

Those are editorials, which aren't really "news." Since they are by different authors, differing opinions are not unexpected.

I don't mind using IGN for their news, but I usually don't take their editorials seriously since they are just someone stating their opinion.

For news IGN isn't so bad. From what I've seen they make less factual mistakes than other sites, like Kotaku.

IGN is my favourite major gaming website. I do like some smaller sites better though.

With that said, I usually agree with IGN's reviews and that's why I like them.

Usually IGN are spot on. I prefer their Sony and MS editors over their Nintendo guys because the former seem to be a bit better informed about what's going on in the bigger gaming world than the latter, but overall they're my go-to place for news and reviews.

Why is this so hard for people to understand?

Different opinions naturally occur. IGN, or any other website, is not one entity with one opinion. Losing respect for IGN because of this is silly.

Some of the reviews I disagree with, others I do. That's the same with every gaming website ;P I still like going there for news/upcoming release news.

ign is terrible, every negative gaming stereotype come to life.....plus they pigy back on rumours and flat out makes things up, but their fans turn a blind eye to their yellow journalism...,.

As much as I hate to say it, I agree.

Surely you have reasons for such an opinion? I'd love to hear them.

Didn't you all know IGN is a hivemind? All those that write for IGN contribute to the overall opinions of IGN as a being. So, it's actually impossible under normal circumstances for one IGN Reporter to have conflicting opinions to another as the Hivemind of IGN would be destroyed by contradiction.

It's quite sad really.

*cough*
