ok so i brought the Wii going in knowing i wasn't going to get 360-PS3 level graphics. I love to root for the underdog. that's what nintendo has been all this current gen with its tech. I did expect someone even Nintendo to create the game stood out graphics wise. We hear rumors about the Wii 2/HD and how nintendo is kissing the 3rd party butt with the tech inside. the 3ds comes out and it powerful enough to run street fighter 4 basically. im not mad at the Wii's tech im just disappointed with the Wii 2 on the horizon (which im getting day 1) that i haven't see one game yet on Wii that really lives up to what the specs are inside.

p.s. i know im going to hear a lot of mario galaxy this and metroid that but those games could have been made on xbox1.

Well the Wii is only about as powerful as the original Xbox. Actually it's processor is slower than the one on the Xbox. So of course the graphics wouldn't be drastically better

A lot of us are also dissapointed. Join the club. I was hyped like crazy for the Wii, then I got it and quickly loathed the Waggle. This is the first Nintendo system I am not a fan of. I enjoyed the virtual boy more than the Wii. Of course I only paid $30 for my Virtual Boy back in '96.

ii remember getting resident evil 4 for gamecube and putting the disc in. when i started playing it i was like this is the best looking game i have seen on a home console. it just blew me away. i know i couldn't say that about the Wii as far as best looking game on a console.... but at least blow me away.

Perhaps it's because you are so used to the Wii's graphics that nothing just stands out. Although the Wii isnt capable of much more than the gamecube is either.

yeah i know it just that as a console gets five years into life cycle you are suppose to see games that couldn't have been done in year one or two. No developer even Nintendo is getting that out of the Wii. I don't feel Wii has been pushed to its limits.

Thats because most people made games for the "waggle" crowd. The cheap graphics, waggle gimmicky games.

There was really NO incentive for anyone other than Nintendo to spend money making a game that really tried to push the Wii's limits. There just wasnt the consumer base for that kind of game on the Wii.

Most people that bought the Wii, probably still own it and just have the Wiisports that it came with. Nintendo didnt strike it big with consumers that buy a lot of games.
