my friend asked me if i could sync some of my albums onto his ipod for him. I uploaded the cd's and everything, but when i try to sync it comes up transfer purchases? if i do this, will the songs still be on his iTunes library? But i did press it once then it came up you are not authorised to sync 12 songs. will it harm my computer if i let it? is it because he has (i dont know if he has) illegally downloaded his music? Is there a way where I can sync the songs he wants and every song to remain on his computer and stay fine on mine? HELP!!!

Why don't you just copy the song files over onto a USB, or email a folder to him containing those albums?
It'd be much simpler then whatever you're currently attempting.
