iPod Touch 4g Charging Voltage

I was going to plug my iPod Touch 4g into a usb cell phone charger. That plugs into a wall outlet. Then, it is easier to charge it without having to plug it into a computer. The charger is 5.1 volts. I'm pretty sure that the normal USB voltage is 5.0 volts. Will this short out the battery.

Don't do it. It will be shorted because it would be the equivalent to over-charging the battery.
