| i think bring in the clown is the wrong idea : @TheKevinButler Kevin Butler I just shaved off the most epic beard ever. Not funny. I wonder if sony is planning a big butler fest again at e3 - i dont think it would go over well - ppl want serious answers not dumb fanboy references. you got hacked - bad - not somehitng to play off with fake comopany spokeman - like ronakld mcdonald cracking wise about an e coli outbreak at mcdonalds hypotheritcal i am sure ecoli cannot live in mcdonalds food |

Ask the questions? They already spended enough time on it in a event a while ago. No need to waste time at the e3 with that crap. |

SONY's E3 last year was boring. So boring that they had to get 'fake CEO' Kevin Butler to wake up the crowd. His speech was pretty interesting I got to admit, but if they pull out another handicap like that again, I won't be very impressed.

it is one of the few times a year the national media tunes into gaming - sony HAS to address the issue at e3 - it is BY FAR the biggest thing they have to talk about an i hope they do not use butler to make jokes, even if they had addressed it seriously earlier in the conference |

Kevin Butler is a bit of a tool IMO.

I actually mend with it; why would they use additional time for it besides a standard excuse moment? |

its stupid your network has been down for 6 weeks, customer personal data and cc info has been stolen and reportably shopped around, players have lost access to games they bought due to DRM, no online play, no shop, hosing both consumers and devs - and kevin butler tweets about his epic beard he shaved off now that psn is somewhat back and then sony pictures got hacked nice....its not funny, and most ppl will not find it funny - disastrous pr |

Its no surprise that the whole sony company is 1 big mess on infrastructure and this leaded to easy attacks this way. Having massive amounts of hackers aiming at you doesn't really help that much also. Steam got hacked, / microsoft got hacked / blizzard / activision / ubisoft / ( nintendo not "what can you hack if there littlerly isn't anything online" / nasa. Happens all the time. The bank data has been encrypted as they stated. I dont see the problem really. Hell if some hacker groups decide to throw down sony's network again. they probably even will. You cant hold them. Most of them actually help company's with there security flaws. Thats why for example windows updater gives you so much fixes on security risks. Most of them come from the outside infiltrations. And its no secret that sony isn't a aaa software company on OS levels. Most company's do not even share that they lost your information and just completely ignore the whole department. Hell i got a e-mail adres specially designed with fake names for mmo's. you should see what a massive amount of scam mails i get. how did they get my information? exactly. I wonder why you dont hear much of european country's really. And why we only hear about the US side about this problem. I probably do know why, because they overreact on every little god dam ridicilous thing. Its almost watching a comedy sometimes. I'm not defending sony's ****ups on this department. but i really am stunned that people like you pull it to such levels. Its a company, and that dude is a actor that is hired to make statements ( isn't he that commercial dude? ) he doesn't give a rat ass about sony besides giving him a paycheck that pays his bills at the end of the month. He can say whatever he wants, and whatever he likes. He's not a slave. He's just a employee. US pulled this stuff way to far if you ask me already, they got every right to be concerned about the bank account information etc. But you are pulling it beyond levels. But giving it so much attention in the media is just weird if you look at other company's. Its just a timeout + lost information through being the target of massive hacking groups. That got no other purpose then destroying as much as they possible can for there own selfish agenda's. When everything is up again, they can go full force forwards again. And can make every joke about anything. Besides that, you should know that if you put your information outside towards a company, you should always have a risk. Hell its even getting attention on schools in my country. But you always got people that aspect that everything gets arranged for them, and that nothing can ever go wrong. Well if you like to take risks this is what can happen. I hope its a wakeup call for a lot of people to be more careful with there personal information.
