Oh, dear, god.

I think I've lost all hope in my generation, seriously kids these days are not smart, firstly I was at school and this guy asked me when our next lesson was, so I said 1:45 (Quater to two is what I said) and then he said "Can you tell me where the big hand will be and where the little hand will be?" ... That's all I could say, I then asked "Can't you tell time" in which he replied "No so can you just tell me" Remember we're 11 so we should have been able to read time like 5 years ago. So is this the fate of our generation? Not being able to read time? Of course that's not it, a few weeks ago I got into a argument with a friend on how Santa isn't real, he chose not to listen to me and then said "Anything can be real" He even went to say that the darleks (is that how you spell it?) off Doctor Who can be real, he said how scientists found them and chose not to say anything then put it in a tv show, he then said he knows this because his grandpa is a scientist, so the fate of our generations are lying people who can't read time?
I'm sorry for this rant but seriously I doubt kids were like this all them years ago.

By the way I'm not implying all kids are stupid I've met plently of smart ones, yet at the same time...

This isn't news. Kids have always been stupid. :P

I remember I talked to someone one time who thought that if you were in the army then you could kill anyone you wanted.

Also, they thought that if the US ever got into a war with China, everyone in the US would have to go to California and then just charge at the country.

I too believe that kids today are stupid, but there are smart ones that pop up from time to time. I'd say I'm of average intelligence, and whenever I answer a question in chemistry(Or in any class really), the kids around me are like, "How do you know this crap?". My reply, "Listen.". They'd learn more if they'd just shut up during the lesson and payed attention.

Defintly agree, I am sick and tired of people calling my name in the middle of a lesson and then they start waving there hand in my face.

Eh. Some kids have different strengths and weaknesses. The education is also a factor.

I've recently seen an instance were a kid didn't proofread the title of his/her thread.
