Default last.fm 2011

Don't think a lot of members here have a last.fm account, but if you do and actively scrobble your tracks, please do contribute!

Basically, just post your Top Artists of 2011 (which can be done by selecting Last 12 Months on the tab above the chart). After that, you can post any goals you have in mind (ie getting into x genre, listening to x band, quitting so and so).

Personally I want more video game music in my charts for this year. I think I should also return to seeking out indie (hipster) bands and some decent hip hop again. 2011 just felt barren in terms of hip hop I wanted to listen to. Lupe Fiasco let me down, and all I could turn to was OFWGKTA and Childish Gambino. My friends say I'm not looking hard enough, but I hate having to look for artists I might like.

I'm gonna continue hoping for a new The Protomen sequel to Father of Death, and hopefully Deltron 3030 can get Event II a solid release date too.

Your turn.

I was surprised with that one actually. I was thinking I listened to モーニング娘。or ℃-ute more, but it's not like it's a bad thing. Oh yeah, you don't like this kind of music unless it's in Rhythm Heaven, right?

Luckily I haven't actually done any scrobbling since December 31st, so this works out nicely.

My only goal is to expand further. Before 2010 I hadn't ever even heard of The Divine Comedy, Streetlight Manifesto, Thomas Tallis, or Blood Sweat & Tears, so I'd say I did good discovering them. =P

I'd love to expand all of the genres I listen to. Although lately I've been interested in Renaissance choral music (that's what Thomas Tallis is), so I'd really like to expand there. And I'd love to expand in classical altogether. And I'd love to listen to more modern music.
