Legendary Pictures, the motion picture company behind 300 and the nolan batman series and so on, is producing a godzilla film. The film will stay true to the character. The director is Gareth Edwards(Monsters) and the writer is David S. Goyer(Dark City). It will be in 3D, Godzillla will look like his traditional self, and will have a monster opponent.. He might be portrayed as an earth defender and will be cgi. I hope some of you will look forward to this film

Yeah, we already knew this for a year now.

As for the film itself, just like all other American films based on Japanese properties, it will be crap. See Dragon Ball Evolution, Astro Boy, and the other American Godzilla movie.

I beg to differ. It is being directed by an actual godzilla fan, being written by a competent writer, will have a big budget and won't be rushed, and overall LP is a reliable company. I think it will be great.
