Locoroco, from a technological standpoint, would work on the 3DS.
Remember Locoroco, that game about singing blobs on the PSP? We haven't really heard of it for a while, but that's not what this thread is about. Locoroco had cute, simple, 2D pastel graphics and it definitely didn't take up much room on a memory card. In fact, the game could be ported, and would be fun, on a 3DS. The game was about tilting the land your blob was on, and as you know, the 3DS has tilt controls. See what I mean?
It didn't take up very much room at all, and was a huge success. (Don't believe me? They made three sequels.) The game might not have to use 3D with tilting and all, but if they made another way of playing (like Cubic Ninja), they could have your blob bouncing towards the screen, platforms swaying in and out of the playing field, so on and so forth.
Now, will it happen? Probably not, seeing as it's been a Playstation exclusive title so far. But then again, crazier things have happened. Remember Sonic? |
