I pre-ordered SM3DL (great game btw, im at world 8-6) at my local gamestop, so i got the Tanooki Mario keychain. Today at school, I showed it to a couple of people, and their response, "Mario is gay". This is just plain sad. Games used to be all about adventure, heroism, not "Hey Nazi bit*h, eat my bullets!" or "Die zombie die!". People have lost the true meaning of games. I'm in sixth grade, maybe 10 or 20 people play classic Mario or Zelda. I'm one of those people. Most others say "Call of Duty is the best game ever". These are people who have never experienced a true good game. Please comment on which is better, classic Nintendo, or shooters.

How can you compare the company of Nintendo to..... shooters?

They're both not of the same category therefore you cannot accurately compare them. Give me a scale to compare them both on.

classic nintendo, games these days are just "HAHAHA DIE YOU!!!!!", no real objective, just aim and fire in a gloomy dark landscape. I am glad to see this year to return to the happiness in games, skyward sword, rayman origins, super mario 3d land, mariokart7, kirby wii, you will never get closer to classic happy colorful titles like these in another few years.....

and mario is gay? if he was Why would he keep on rescuing the princess then? sigh....

Well, pretty much any casual FPS bro does compare them, and it is usually in the way that he described it int h op.

Middle school is where it became "uncool" to like anything you did in elementary school. Everyone was trying so hard to be an adult. I think it's safe to say I hated middle school.

I refuse to choose between the two.

I hate it when people use the word "true" when referring to their on opinion.

I hate it when people use the word "gay" as a derogatory term.

Eh, it's not that big of a deal. It's obviously not used as homosexual in most cases. It's not a slap in the face of homosexuals, it just has a third meaning to society now.
