I hate to admit it, but it's true. Yes, Megaman 9 and 10 were popular, but look at the recent spin-offs, such as the StarForce and ZX series.

Oh, by the way, if you haven't played ZX, you should go do that. ZX was awesome.

They are better of just making new games.

ZX is one of my favorite Mega Man series. I don't really care for Battle Network or Star Force. I'm afraid they may have oversaturated the market and drove some people away from the good series. I'm really hoping for Legends 3 (I haven't played 2, only 1) and ZX 3, but at the rate things are going, I'm getting worried.

I really hope this is just an April Fools joke, but I doubt it.

They're pretty much accurate.

The only recent games in the Megaman series that did well are the nostalgic throwbacks, which can't be released in large numbers. Legends didn't get much recognition, Zero never really caught on, ZX was largely ignored and Star Force didn't get to reach the same popularity as Battle Network did at its release. Battle Network itself did pretty well, but the hype for that died as it was milked to death.

The last time Megaman was really prominent in the market was on the SNES, which was over a decade ago.

Uh, Megaman 10 last year, I believe. Or at least, that's the only one I cared about. I love good old classic Megaman. <3

The NES and SNES games are amazing, I recently bought the X trilogy for my SNES. I haven't played any Mega Man games since X3, and I'm glad - I've seen videos from new stuff and it looks terrible.

when Keiji Inafune wasn't at the wing of the Creativity Department for the series, Mediocre and forgettable Mega Man franchises came out, like Starforce. I completely ignored that series
