I am not Mexican, but keep myself updated with the country. I am deeply saddened with it's current state, the government itself is corrupted, each one is allied to a certain cartel faction,there is no freedom within the media and everybody just gets brutally killed.

What will happen to this country? elections are coming, more bodies are piling up. the druglords might get "captured" but their reign will still continue, as long as they live. I have also read reports that the some cartels are getting immunity from American authorities,in exchange of information on the other cartel.

just sad.

But Mexico is also a place with a fascinating history and incredible Maya and Aztec/Toltec architecture.

Yea, the architecture is at least one positive. I can't speak for anyone that actually lives in the country, but the best thing to do would be to look for as many positives as possible.

Just watched the video of those two drug cartel guys being beheaded.

Brutal stuff. Had it coming, but brutal stuff.

I think "Mexico :(" about sums it up.

i think it would be best if mexico just becomes a part of america
half the people there are trying to get there anyways
with all that america will be able to (hopefully) clean it up as much as our big cities are now which isnt perfect but is still livable
