Buttons over touch screen anyday...

I laugh at this everytime i hear it. come to me when Apple makes a dedicated gaming machine. mobile gaming as it stands now is just to waste time. i can never see myself sitting on my phone and playing a game for hours. my 3ds or Wii 2/HD will get that time.

Oh, I didn't know mobile phones had Mario, Zelda, Metroid, Kirby, Uncharted, Killzone and Resistance.

Indeed. I can't say I remembered it when making tthe thread though. Point made. Funny thing is, he refuses to buy an iPod because "they're over-priced", and he can get a generic one that is "just as good" for quite a bit cheaper.

He was burned pretty bad by Zune.

The games on phones suck, besides, 3ds is getting angry birds, the only good one.

The fact that phones are going with digital buttons to eliminate all but the mmost necesarry physical buttons makes it difficult to game unless it is gesture/touch based. I can't stand games that have fake dpads.

I use this phone for qquite a bit. Browsing. Txting. Calls. Photos. Ebooks, and comic reading. I've a few favorite time waste games installed, but I tried one of the mmos and, while captivating, it just was hard to get in too deep.

I think this argument is irrelevant, most mobile games suck Angry Birds was the only good one and that's being released for virtually every console.
