Which do you think has better graphics?

The game is the best looking monster hunter game so far, and even though it's not HD it is still miles ahead of the graphics even on the xbox 360 version.


The only thing TRI skemps on is content compared to the psp and xbox versions
example certain weapons are left out for some reason.


So far no monster hunter is touching TRI's graphics in my opinion

wii ofcourse way more geometric. those remaster ps3 HD are just cleaned up resolution + textures from the PSP. they aint going to increase the geometric of characters and enviroments. its not a remake.

I don't think it's fair to tell when you have the full Wii game out in 420p and only a 360p video for the PS3 version. It's too soon to call, imo

Ok I have a higher resolution video of the PS3 version now. Also I don't think it too early to tell considering we're just comparing the graphics.

Portable 3 for the ps3 just looks abit sharper than the PSP version
Also that bites that the PS3 monster hunter is just a port of the PSP version

The Wii version is better, even though it's in SD. PS3 port upscaled or not, it's still designed for the PSP originally.

Monster Hunter Tri was designed for the Wii from the ground up (they literally rebuilt all the mechanics). So it obviously uses all the Wii's strength to look good. While Monster Hunter Portable 3rd was designed for the PSP and uses all the PSP's strengths.

Monster Hunter Portable 3rd HD version, well, that didn't even look like a PS3 game in the video. Especially when they got close up to the monster's skin, you could really tell. The only thing the PS3 version has over the PSP and Wii is that it looks crispier. The res will obviously look better on the PS3, but that's about it.

they both look pretty good.
