Question My gamecube is flippin alive!!!

okay guys , i have a question , i was using my wii as a gamecube , so i unplugged my gamecube completely and put it in my sisters room for a good 3MONTHS , with NO power , even the power cord was unplugged . then recently , i decided i wanted to store it in my room plugged in because i didnt want it to get broke , and i need to be able to still play GC games when the WII U comes out.(my wii will be kicked to the curb) . so i plugged it in , and went to the main menu , and the date and time was exactly rite!!! how did my GC know what time it was after being unplugged for so long???

Built in battery? Keeps time correct. At least in my computer it does.

Built in batteries lots of electronics come with them nothing new its the same as the wii and others that why when the electric goes out you dont have to fix the time.

Lol, that's more than my Xbox does. I unhooked the ethernet last night to move it into my bedroom (my DVD/blu-ray player broke). I woke up this morning and used it to check what time it was (I usually have my Roku on, which has a clock screensaver), and it said it was 5:38. I was pissed that I slept for 15 hours. 3 hours later, I looked at the wall clock in the living room and found out it was actually 12:00 and not 8:00.

Stop posting useless threads, its really annoying. When something comes to your mind DO NOT push the "new thread" button.

Your question could have very been easily answered with a google search. Please do not make threads asking simple questions, make sure it can lead to some actual discussion.

Also, please post threads in the appropriate section of the forum.
