Default My Laptop says "Consider Replacing Your Battery"?

Lately my Laptop's battery HAS been acting strange, without it being plugged in it would last like 20 minutes at most with high performance on. Now I turned on my laptop and the battery icon has a x over it and says "Consider Replacing Your Battery" and below it says "There is a problem with your battery, so your computer might shut down suddenly" What should I do? I'm fine if I have to leave it plugged in to use it if that matters lol. Thanks

Get in contact with the company that supplies your laptop and ask about replacement batteries. I'm sure their help line can do something about it.

Mine did that once. Now my battery life is maybe 5 minutes (no joke). But seeing as it was always close to a plug in I'm not worried about replacing the battery.

Unless you use it in a mobile environment, I wouldnt worry about it. If you do, do like he said, and call the laptop company.

Laptop batteries die. Your PC is telling you your laptop battery is dead and to buy a new one. I ignored it on one of my laptops and I have about 45-60 seconds of battery life on that thing. Do yourself a favor and get a new battery if you want that thing to be portable at all.

Replac the battery, simple enough.

Like with portable gaming batteries, the maximum time you can get out of it WILL decrease over time. So yes, replace the battery. Just look at the battery to get it's model, manufactuer, that kind of techincal facts.

I also had to replace my laptop battery. Order one off of Amazon. That's what I did.

My laptop cannot charge, which basically ruins the portable-ness of this laptop. I found unplugging the charger turning off this computer faster than doing an emergency shut-off.
