 Namco Bandai Press Conference (Soul Calibur V announced, Ace Combat for the 3DS)

Keza MacDonald will be on hand for us with a liveblog. The press conference starts at 9.30am local time: that’s 6.30am BST, 7.30am CET, 1.30am EST and 10.30pm PST.
We’re not exactly sure what’s going to be included in the conference, but expect details on Ace Combat: Assault Horizon, Dark Souls, Ridge Racer: Unbounded, Inversion and plenty more.
Namco’s promised us there are going to be some proper announcements here, so don’t blink. Daishi Odashima has already said he’ll “hopefully” be releasing the first info on the new Soul Calibur game sometime in May, so this could well be it. | I am not sure if anything will be announced for the 3DS specifically, but this is a major event nonetheless. I expect a few big announcements. UPDATE:
Here are the highlights: - Soul Calibur V announced for 2012. It’s a continuation of the SCIV storyline and features Patroklos, Sophitia’s son, as lead.Debut Trailer
- Dark Souls out October. Pre-order content for both 360 and PS3 confirmed.
- Ace Combat: Assault Rising out October 11 in the US, October 14 in Europe.
- Tales of Graces F will launch on PS3 in Europe and the US next year. Tales of the Abyss on 3DS this year.
- New, untitled Dragon Ball announced for PS3 and 360, but no details were given.
- Bodycount launching this summer.
- Ace Combat was confirmed to be in development for 3DS. No more details were given, though.
