Default Need a New Wireless Router

Hey guys, after my internet shut-down scare, I've discovered that I need a new wireless router.
My current wireless router has been melting the plastic around one of my walls because of the amount of heat radiating from other cords.
Anyway, my router is melting as well, and I think I should buy a new one and organize my electronics.
I don't want a fire hazard.
Anyway, what wireless routers do you guys recommend I should buy?

I have a Cisco Linksys E2000 router.

So far no problems for me and I've had it for little over a year.

I'm pretty sure there's other great routers but the one I wouldn't recommend is Belkin cause i had problems after the first 5 days I used it and it just stopped working.

I've had my Belkin for 5 years and it has always messed up during storms or sometimes the phone signal would interfere. But in the last few weeks it has been spontaneously dropping connections and causing me to restart it several times a day. I would not recommend Belkin.

I recently got a MediaLink mwn-wapr150n, and it's working really really well. I had a Cisco Linksys WRT100 before and it was HORRIBLE.

ADSL or Cable?

If cable then get the D-Link Whole Home router if money isn't an objection
