Nintendo introduces the eShop via the Wii

I don't know if someone already posted about this (if so, please feel free to post "cOLD mOLD on a sLATE pLATE" as much as your trolling hearts will permit), but apparently Nintendo is using a new points system....


WHAT ABOUT THE OLD POINTS!?!?!?!?


I had probably a good 1500 or so on my Wii, and another 3000 on my DSi (I don't know if they've updated the DSiShop menu yet). The TV is being hogged by my sister, and I can't check our Wii to see if my other points are still there...

Are the old points changed to the new ones? Is Nintendo just changing the points' names? I don't want to lose $15!!!!


Has the update taken place yet? Should I buy all the VC games I can?

Yes. Buy them. All of the VC games. Every. Last. One.

Ok, I'll buy them all...

But can I buy them with the Wii Points I have (or had...)? Or must my 1500 points go into the trash because Nintendo doesn't like them anymore.

The cashcards will be translated to wii points or dsi points, but nintendo points will not be transferable to cashcards for use on 3ds and cafe.
