Ok so which one is better as an music player the 3DS or the PSP. Also, which one is louder? Which one has the better quality for music? Is the Nintendo 3DS louder than the PSP (with earphones of course) if you put the setting to Stereo or Mono?

Nobody in their right mind would use either as a music player. They're both gargantuan compared to the average mp3 player/smartphone.

They both suck but I think the 3DS one is better than the PSP because you can play around with your music on it. I would still use my mp3 instead though.

Do you know which one is louder through earphones. Because some people tell me if you put the 3DS in Stereo or in Mono with earphones it is louder than the PSP?

Different headphones will also affect how loud the output is. You could use iPod earbuds and then, say, Skullcandy headphones, and you'll notice a difference regardless of which system you're listening to the music on.

Compared to PSP it's a bit better in sound quality.
Bass still seems a bit low but sound in 3DS is more clear.
Other than that 3DS Sound also has much more options.

Also PSP is louder than 3DS.
