| lets say you bought a pspgo the day the network went down, like my cousin did - lol on him lets say you are one of those waiting for the 3ds shop - why? they know the hype will be high so they will wait to release great games for a long while anyhow - like dsiware - ppl bought things or used their free credits on whatever was there the vc is pointless - go but a gba sp and some gb/gbc games - much better value, and they will always be there - wont have to wait for years old games to be 'released' - they are already on the market for more reasonable prices another tidbit is the theives at android are finally shutting the door on pay emulators - how low class is cell phone gaming - bunch of theives and criminals stealing some one else intelecutal property - sad |

Lol your cousin is a moron for buying the PSPgo. I didnt know anyone would WANT to pay full price for every game on a system. Guess darwin will weed out that genepool eventually. And sorry to tell you that Steam is the most popular way to buy computer games nowadays. Digital distribution is going to be more and more common in the future, get used to it. EDIT: And either fix your damn keyboard or stop posting. |

well my cousin is a casual game who still plays ps2 and though he would try out the pspgo cause it was on sale - little did he know sony lost him as a customer I fear - he has his eye on the mkwii bundle i told him I would loan him TP and say him $20.... Jackze -- i do not support ms subscription gaming so I give no money to live in any form - I do not want ea and MS to turn gaming into cable tV, which they will do also I do not do an pc gaming, nothing against it - I just dont bother with it..... |

Digital Distribution is the way of the future, as Danger said. Game publishers won't have to worry about printing and shipping physical games, or paying a price to retailers for a spot on their shelves. If anything, digital distribution is only bad for the middlemen (the retailers) and good for the producers and the consumers. Subscription-based games and pay-to-play games are something a little different, but online game stores are ultimately good for the industry. |

Yeah I gotta say that even though I don't like digital distribution, Steam has some nice pricing and sales. Definitely the kind of service I'd deal with more often if I had a gaming rig.

Barkis you do know that when I said XBLA I wasn't talking about paying to play right? I meant the fact that you can buy and download games from them as well.
