I've noticed that there are topics about most of the games from the franchise, but I didn't find an exact thread that just solely talks about the anime in general, sooo....

I liked the first two series the most, I HATED Dragonball GT, just because it was just a crappy extension (Goku turning back into a kid? Come on, now. Just expand the series without having bland plotlines).

I loved the Cell Saga but I hated what became of Gohan after that he's so weak..

My favorite saga from DBZ is the Freiza Saga simply because I thought Freiza was the most "convincing" of all the franchise's villians. Majin Buu was great but it turned out to be a mix of just immaturity and rather forgettable.

I just love though how at the end of DB Goku has a power level of like 200 and then in the end of DBZ he has over 100 million or something ridiculous like that.

If you love Dragonball and have never seen this before, you owe it to yourself to watch this. Its like watching the entire "Z" saga in 10 minutes. My favorite AMV of all time. This one makes up for the 568,542 crappy DB AMVs.

Just thought I'd share. Anyway, just finished all of the manga a few weeks ago, (after all these years of just seeing the anime) my favorite saga was definitely the Freeza arc. I think I felt more fear for the characters during that part then any other.

My favorite part was in the Cell saga though, where Gohan jumps in front of Vegeta to save him from an energy blast and it damages his arm, leaving it unusable. About three pages later Vegeta says, "I can't believe I was only a liability... Gohan, I'm sorry." Then Gohan looks back and thinks, "Vegeta's apologizing? He must know we can't win."

Damn, that was just like... the "breaking" point of Vegeta's ruthless, selfish character (kinda). Sounds like a lame favorite part, but I think that part hit home more for me then any other. The father/son Kamehameha was pretty epic too.
