Default OMG! Travel Time!

Eeeep! I'm so excited, I'm going to New York tomorrow! Can't wait to see all the tourist attractions, get Streetpasses, and be looked down apon the New Yorkers, for being a Tourist

QUESTION TIME!
What are your favorite places to travel? What do you like/hate about them? Let's spark up a conversation.

I got to go to NYC last year on a school art trip. 20 kids on a bus for 18 hours, hilarity ensued. We went to a bunch of the museums, naturally, but we got a decent amount of shopping time too. I got to go to the Nintendo Store twice, and it was awesome. I pretty much fell in love with the place, and I'm sure you will too.
Other than that, I adore Montréal and Maine.

Chicago. I grew up there, so I love going home to visit friends and family, not to mention the wonderful food!

Yeah, I'm really looking forward to the Nintendo World Store! It sounds like Nintendo Paradise, but that's probably Japan
I hope I can go to Japan before I die.

Sometimes I'll grab a deep dish, but I'm still more about a regular size crust. I just really like that Chicago pizza joints use a proper oven that cooks the pizza in a way that it doesn't get all puffed up and "bready", but rather stays dense and moist. They also use a lot more cheese than anyone else and don't use crappy, precooked sausage.

But other than pizza, I'm definitely all about Italian beef sandwiches (which you don't find much of outside of the region and even when you do, they're completely wrong) and, really, Italian food in general. It's just not the same out here on the West Coast.

I've basically just traveled out in Eastern Canada so far- especially the Maritimes. Would love to go out west, maybe Wisconsin too to visit some relatives... and the big one- I'd LOVE to travel to Japan, primarily for the culinary experience.
