I don't think you're the right person to compare these systems, it looks like you don't know what you're talking about. No offense. Might want to read up on them before continuing or else there's going to be a huge flame war.

If you say anything good about Vista I will doubt the legitimacy of this thread.

Also I think xp and def vista arnt being used as much currently. The only reason why Xp was still in heavy use was because of how Vista ran games (to my knowledge) and 7 corrected alot of those issues. I have only recently started using a windows OS full time. Growing up on Apple I cant wait to see what the OP has to say about OS X.

Well i pretty much know what i'm talking about.
I used windows(2000,xp,vista,7),linux(archlinux,mandriva, ubuntu,debian,fedora,redhat,centos,opensuse,knoppi x,pardus and a lot more) a bit of mac.
I don't know much about mac but i know how windows and linux work.
I also used BSD,though because it uses linux based desktop systems and
its architecture is similar to linux i won't write about those.
From bad side of things,my English sucks so even that post took me about an hour to write.

I actually don't know that much about Mac.
Because that a Mac book cost about 3000$ in here i never had a mac.
But i heard,read many things and use one of those mac ports.

My old high school still uses XP, as do 95% of the computers at my college. They have one Mac lab of about 10 computers, which runs a pre-leopard version (not sure which one). Also, my mom's work, which consists of 23 offices around the state still use XP.

At the moment, I don't see myself using Windows at all. Maybe 8 will change this for me. I'm pretty attached to Lion right now.
