| Throughput this forum, and many others in fact, I've seen a growing sense of disappoint for Nintendo. Not because of what they've brought to the table, but what because they didn't. All of these views about "omg no online in starfox 3d!?", "omg oot 3d is just the same as before!!" and "omg eshop is delayed nintendo suxxxxx"; they just kind of irk me. I know people are allowed to have their own opinions, but why complain? How productive is it in the long run? We create all these expectations for ourselves when we look what other gaming companies are doing, like adding online play to almost every single possible aspect of a game, releasing remakes of games but with vast and spacious new features, and online shops straight from the box, so when something disrupts from the norm, we have to turn around and start calling out WOLF! ? It seems a little unfair. Nintendo's been very loyal to their gamers, but also to their own games. Starfox 64, or Lylat Wars, was a marvel. Shooting up bad guys in space, saving the universe; it was a very radical age. It also brought something else forth, which was its multiplayer. While not new, it was a way to play with friends, four players pitted against each other. Fast forward to today, and Starfox 3D on the horizon. The same game, remade/ported/etc. (there's a difference but you know what I mean) for us gamers. While adding online would be awesome, they didn't do this. Instead, they added download play. It can be just like those days, instead you can't screenwatch as easily. Four friends, side by side, duking it out in the pits of space. Just like the old times. (Of course, this is all riding on that download play allows you to play with the person who has the cart. If it doesn't, there goes that argument.) The similar can be said for Ocarina of Time 3D. While they've added the boss rush, the updated boss quest and the addition of the visions function, the game is essentially the same beast it was years ago. While that it might not appeal to some (and I respect those who do not want to buy the same game again for like the fifth time), I can't wait to step back into Little Me's shoes and trek back through Hyrule again as if I was that wee lil' tyke again. It can also open the floodgates to gamers who never experienced the wonderful land of Hyrule! I do know that nostalgia is a little risky as a selling point, but hey, it's another game for the 3DS to play that I know isn't going to suck, right? As for the eShop "fiasco"... (I don't personally see it as a fiasco), this all stemmed from gamers who believed the rumours. Nintendo never did say anywhere "THE ESHOP WILL BE RELEASED ON Xst/nd/rd/th the Yth!!!". Everyone got in their heads that it would be definitely in late May. Sometimes it might be a factor that no one could have foreseen. Perhaps it is to tie in with E3. Who knows? It's not something to get angry over, and it isn't anything to call Nintendo the antichrist/whatever they were called. I'm looking forward to Nintendo's business plan, whatever that may be. Some people might say that I'm one of those people who think Nintendo can do no wrong. Maybe I am. Or maybe I'm just optimistic about everything, and turn to the brighter side. It wouldn't hurt to breathe deeply, smell the roses and relax every now and again, wouldn't it? Tl;dr: Talked about Nintendo and complaints people have made whilst giving my opinion on the matter. |

Its called voicing your opinion. They want to show their hate and what they feel as Nintendo disgraces them.

But May is... May, not seven days after May. Even if it doesn't kill me to wait a week, it's still a disappointment. I trusted Nintendo to release late May, as they said. As for the Starfox Online thing; why didn't they? Even leaderboards (as I think SRT or someone said in another thread) would be nice, but no online at all?

| People are free to complain and voice their concerns and such. That's something you need to get use to. |

I feel like people have the right to complain if they feel like they're not being given a fair deal, in the case of OoT and SF64.

![]() JK, I did read it, and I must say i sorta agree with SRT, that the same game again with no real additions is not really a good deal.

| As people that can even afford video games, we're spoiled as hell. A starving child in Africa would love to play Carnival Games, I'm sure. Quote:

When you spend £200 on something then don't get everything you were promised or wanted then of course your going to be annoyed and the internet is the perfect place to vent.
