Which do you like better. I prefer console gaming, other than the sims I haven't found a PC game I like all that much unless it was on consoles too. I prefer a controller to a keyboard and mouse as well.

Plus I have never really owned a computer powerful enough or with enough room on the hard drive to put games on it. The hard drive on my computer is puny and I only have access to like 54 GB. So consoles have just been a better route for me.

Steam is easily better than any of the current consoles. As long as you have a decent computer I see no reason to choose console games over PC, unless the game is exclusive to a specific console.

Most games support a gamepad, too. I use the 360 controller for my PC needs.

Well I don't have a good computer at all so I have never even thought of using steam. So I am ignorant of almost all details on exactly what steam does

I wish there was an option for both.

They each have their advantages and disadvantages. I like both.

I will say, however, I do not like the recent trend in consoles becoming more like PCs (360 and especially PS3). Day-one patches, games the can't be borrowed or sold, subscription fees, mandatory game installs, etc. Why would I want all of the disadvantages of a PC without the advantages?

I love PC gaming, but consoles always have the best exclusives, so I keep going to them.

It's basically like a better version of Xbox Live/PSN with crazy cheap deals and a better (imo) community.
