Earlier today, I was in a GBU battle on Pokemon Black against someone who was ranked way better than me. I ended up beating him 3/6-0/0 and he DCed. This had happened to me before but I finally got fed-fed up and e-mailed them this:

Hi, this is more of a complaint than a question, but on the GBU, every time I win, my opponent disconnects making it like the battle never happened. My record completely sucks because all that ever gets recorded is my losses. If there is anything you could do to stop this, on behalf of competitive battlers everywhere, please do it.

A few minuets ago I got this response:

Hello, *no name for you!*!
We see that you are inquiring about actions taken against players who appear to be disconnecting before the end of a GBU battle.



Players who disconnect do, in fact, have an immediate penalty implemented. Rest assured that these players are experiencing penalties that do remove them from basic game play.

So I gess that means if you disconnect, you get a penalty? Well, I'm happy with that. People who DC deserve it!

I think they might have a separate server for all of those who disconnect? Think I heard that somewhere. Like DC five times or something and you get matched up with people who also DC.
