Ok now that I have a nintendo 3ds and played the crap out of star wars 3 I was looking at the most popular games for the DS. Which is Pokemon. Could someone explain to me what the game is like? And if i was going to get one. Which flavor should I go with?

The game is better than anime. It's an rpg, you are a trainer who must collect and train pokemon. You have to beat some bad guys who are trying to abuse them, beat the gym leaders and then go to the pokemon league. I think the game gets better after the main story because more pokemon become available and you can battle people on wifi.

its funny how this thread was moved from the "3DS games" section. Can you not play this on the 3DS? I know not in 3D and its meant for the DS but come on. The Mods are a little to protective lol

You can play it on the 3DS, but the thread was still in the wrong section. The descriptions of the sections can really help you with where a topic should rightfully go.

Anyway, Pokemon is a must I feel for DS owners. Even more so, with the new Black and White versions. I love the story with these versions, and the Legendaries are pure ownage.
