Default Pokmeon RSE Internal Battery

I'm starting to have doubts that my Emerald's internal battery will dry out soon. Does anyone know how long the internal batteries supposedly last? Is there anyway to replace it?

I want to continue time based events, such as trying to search for the fabled Mirage Island! Also the Lillycove Department Store lottery, tides in Shoal Cave, and especially growing berries, the berry man, Department Store Clear Out sale, stuff like that.

And I'm not only conserned about my Emerald's version, I'm also concerened about my brother's (actually my) Sapphire and Ruby version.

I'm also posting this at the Nintendo Club Tech Support forums. If I get anything there, I'll post it here.

I've seen that, but for some reason I can't view the images in the links. And the soldering is going to be a problem. I don't think my dad has a soldering iron. Nor do I know where I can get the replacement battery.

You could buy the soldering iron at your local hardware store. And as for the battery, ebay.

Figures. Is there an alternate to this? Like sending it in to Nintendo or Game Stop or such?
