Default Is is possible to research somthing to death?

I'm beginning to realize that reading about something too much takes away from the enjoyment when you finally get it in your hands. Whether it be a movie or a game. It's just not as fun if it's beaten to death before hand. Maybe fun is the wrong word. It would probably be better to say that you lose that shock and aw factor.

For example, I read that aiming in Oot 3d we will be done with the gyroscope. That's something I would have loved to discover on my own. Same thing goes for the AR on 3DS. I saw AR on youtube before I even bought the 3DS. When I saw it on Youtube I was like "whoa!". But It would have been much more amazing if I had just waited and done it for myself.

My curiousity gets the best of me. I'm like Johnny 5 from Short circuit, "Input!, Input!, Need more input!"

It sure kills the surprise element, but I knew about the 3d and the shininess of the system, but they both just killed me with their awesomeness anyways.

Oh! most definitely!

I don't think a little bit of a teasing is bad. I just need to be careful and not eat the whole dang cake!

I agree with you 100%. The 3DS could of been way more fun opening it up for the first time if I hadn't spoiled EVERYTHING

I somewhat agree with this. I kept watching several 3DS openings on youtube every day before the 3DS came out. I knew exactly what was inside, but I was still excited to see it for myself and rip my packaging apart. It didn't take away from the feeling, hahaa.
