I know this is not a therapy site, but I want to look for an answer with a problem I have been having.

For the past few months, I have been working EXTREMLY hard to earn money for my video games. And with each one, My sister begs to play. Recently, I have bought a single player single file game. I am taking a break when my sister barges in asking to play it. I said "no, I don't want to mess up my profile, sorry bout that" in a nice voice. She freaks out and drags my mom in.

So my mom starts freaking over one tiny "no" and I say that It is a single file game, I don't want to mess my file up. So ta-da. She starts yelling about how sharing is important. Once again, I explain I really don't want her to play my games.

WELL Now my mom and my sister is all pissed and now they are on ebay buying a ton of games, something my mom would never do to me. I don't think this is fair.

And the same exact story goes for my ipod and 3DS, BOTH PAYED WITH MY OWN HARD EARNED CASH.

Do you think this is like making her seem special and me just an outcast? I know I am sounding childish, I am just annoyed this is the 23rd time this has happened.

i agree with you, id go mental if someone deleted my files! tell your mum and tell her you have already started a game and it will delete if she starts another game.

Thanks for understanding, she has deleted files before and I get really annoyed. And I did tell my mom but she exploaded yelling I am the worst son in history. I am so pissed and let down. Only thing that can cheer me up is to hope my dad finds that copy of MK7 at target tonight

I've had the exact same thing happen where I wouldn't let my brother play the game, he beat me up. (However, my mom didn't shout at me.) Now try and play some of your sisters games...see how she like it *laughs evilly*

I hate when people play my things. If your mom is going to eBay and buying games for her, tell your sister how sharing matters and play her games. Otherwise just ignore them because now you don't have to deal with her playing your stuff. This "sharing is important" stuff is dumb. If you earned it, it is yours. Not her's.

I feel your pain man. I have TWO younger bros they always wanted to play my stuff and when i said no they went all rage and drug my mom into it. But luckily i have a video game loving dad who always put an end to it pretty quickly. Heres what you CAN do. Single file game new. Let your sis create a file and when she is done restart it. Sure its mean but shell understand from then on, hopefully

As for your problem, it is unfair since they're YOUR games and you bought them. Then again, it's life. Your parents are always gonna want you to be nice to your siblings and crap like that. Just let her play some other games on another console while you play yours.

Firstly, how old are you?

Secondly, if you have paid for them with your own cash, you shouldn't even have to share in the first place

Your mom's only allowed to tell you to share if SHE bought the games. You buy it, you own it. If you don't want to share, no one should be able to force you to.
