That's what I thought until I saw this: YouTube - ‪Street Fighter X Tekken (X Infamous) - PS Vita E3 2011 Announcement‬‏ Though I don't think it will fit in most people's jeans pockets. |

I agree the Vita isn't designed to be put in your pocket, but that doesn't mean it's not portable. I never put my 3DS in my pocket (it damages the system) but I still think it's plenty portable. And the games argument doesn't make much sense since the Vita is getting games not found on the PS3. Also, the 3DS has it's fair share of ports. |

You think the vita should be smaller? Brilliant. Sony will get right on to that for you. And of course it's a portable device. The term portable device is not defined by whether it will fit in a pocket or not. |

Portable is being able to carry it around easily not just put it in your pocket. They call things a lot bigger than the psv portable. Laptops, boomboxes, radios, tents, ect.

The virtual boy was labeled as portable. Anything is possible. |

damn idk what kind of pockets YOU have, but if the psp 1000 fits in my pockets, then so should the vita... and I also never put my 3ds in my pocket, i don't want it to get scratched up.
