question on every forum

i have been to 5 forums (besides this one) and all dealing with videogames (plus i play runescape), why does everyone tell me to google it instead of just telling me what i am asking?

Because there is a 99.9% chance you can find a problem solution just by searching Google, lol.

Because videogame forums are heavily populated by nerdy jerks or punk teens and preteens who will take every chance they get to act like they're being put out and give a smart assed answer like that, rather than expend the same amount of effort giving you a simple answer. It gives them a sense of power they don't have in real life. *shrugs shoulders*
