In the song "All Star:" Smash Mouth | All Star with Lyrics - YouTube
around 1:34, what instrument plays that higher pitched melody? I love this part, and now I'm just really curious.

I think it's a mix of whistling and a metal xylophone or metal marimba. Can't really tell beyond that.

Yea, I definitely here some xylophone in there. It could be combined with any of the smaller woodwind instruments.
