Default Rango Sequel?

Does anyone know if there is going to be either a Rango sequel movie or an animated television series on Nick?

We NEED to continue to breath life into WESTERNS! Disney is being begged by Johnny Depp to go forward with The Lone Ranger. We've got The Rolling Western coming to the 3DS and we've got a Rango-esque The Gunstringer coming to XBOX Kinect, plus there is the Cowboy Bounty Hunter in Star Wars The Clone Wars. Let's keep the love flowing!

I hope not. It would probably suck, and ruin the first one for me.

Nothing's been announced or confirmed on a sequel at the moment. I wouldn't be surprised if there is one. I also wouldn't be surprised if there was a spinoff show.

Why make another if the original was so stupid?

me, my sis, my cousin and my dad only watched 15 minutes until we jammed the disc back into the rental case and then we watched justin bieber. And sadly, JB was better than an animated movie

Considering how awesome the first one was, we need a second one.

It's amazing to see how both the How To Train Your Dragon, Shrek and Kung Fu Panda franchises are expanding. I'm really exciting about the Puss in Boots movie as the Zorro-esque feline hero was my major staple from the Shrek movies. I'm also really happy about the fact that Cartoon Network is serious about the How To Train Your Dragon television series.

Plus Madagascar has found a home on television screens via 'The Penguins' television show. With all of these properties crossing from silverscreen to the little screen it would actually disappoint me if Rango missed this golden opportunity to cross on over to the television set.

I think you're overlooking the smaller budget on the little screen. Rango looks amazing as it is. I'd hate to see it get butchered as series. When it comes to Dreamworks movies, the change isn't too noticeable(Although, you will see the changes if you look for them). But Rango? I hope not. I remember reading about a Monsters vs. Aliens tv series the same place I read about the Kung Fu Panda series a while back.
