| Later that year, Microsoft confirmed that Scott Henson, a developer who previously worked on the hardware and software design of the new Xbox 360 console and Kinect for Xbox 360, replaced Mark Betteridge as Studio Manager and that their main focus will be on Kinect.[25] According to Scott: "Kinect will be the main focus for Rare going forwards as it's a very rich canvas. This is just the beginning of an experience that will touch millions of people."[26] Rare's most recent project is the Kinect launch title Kinect Sports, released in November 2010. Despite fair reviews, [27] the game was a commercial success, selling three million units as of May 2011.[28] Rare Ltd. - Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia here is their list of games since becoming xbox List of Rare games - Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia its underwhelming how do you feel about rare? i think theu made a handful of geat games but ar mostly overrated especially dkc series on snes |

Starfox Adventures. One of the best games on the Gamecube by far. Nintendo must have wept bitter tears when Microsoft bought them.

well we all have different tastes i thought banjo kazzoie was superb, but tooie was a very flat sequel cant argue with goldeneye being great jet force geminin not so much blast corp, creative, very good game with camera and control flaws conkers bad fur was fun the first time thrugh, multiplayer was average starfox adventures - not good, imho no nintndo dumped rare at the right time. it is kind of shocking when you consider they ar eone of ms main studios, but that says more about ms first party than anytiung else. ms would rather be apple than nintendo though, it is a bit of a luagh that nintendo and apple, though polar opposites, both make money on gaming, and ms, who tries to be both with limited success, has pissed away several billion dollars.... |

Rare's best talent left when the sale to MS went through. The rest of the good talent has slowly drifted off because of MS's stupidity. They're a husk of their former selves and it wouldn't surprise me if in the next few years they ceased to exist by the name Rare.

i would not be surprised if ms just flat out closed the doors. mark my words, one day they will make as many games a year as apple they just want to be the pipeline, not the product ms and their entertainment brand is bad for gaming.....nintendo is like a candle in the wind, lol but its a preety big freaking candle maybe more like a roman candle |

I'd take Kinect Sports over Wii Sports personally. Also Perfect Dark was rare and my favourite game to date. Also MS closing the doors... LMAO... Wow really? They have some of the biggest IP's in gaming are you kidding me? Oh, wait you're not. I forgot you're the biggest blind fanboy on these forums... Nevermind. P.S. Halo, Forza, Banjo Kazooie (Yes it's now Microsoft because Rare is owned by Microsoft), Fable, Perfect DArk, Viva Pinita, need I go on? (These are ALL first party.) |

| Considering Nintendo were the ones who gladly sold the remaining 49% of the stock to Microsoft, I doubt that. More like laughing all the way to the bank, especially given what Rare have done since.
